Why We're Building Besenes

Every company we talked to was adopting AI, and almost none of them felt like it was actually working. Tools everywhere, pilots that stalled, agents that forgot what they were told. The problem was never the models. It was that companies had no coherent place for AI and people to work together. That gap is why we're building Besenes.

The problem we kept seeing

The pattern was remarkably consistent. A company buys a chat assistant, wires up a few automations, maybe stands up an agent for one workflow. Each piece works in isolation. Together they don't add up to anything.

Knowledge lives in a dozen disconnected tools, so the AI never has the full picture. Agents run without memory, re-deriving context every session and repeating the same mistakes. There's no clear line between what a person decides and what an agent is allowed to do. And no one can see, after the fact, why an agent did what it did.

The result is a lot of motion and very little compounding value. AI ends up bolted onto the side of the company instead of woven into how it runs.

What we believe

We started Besenes from a few convictions.

  • The model is not the moat. Everyone has access to strong models. The advantage comes from the context, the workflows, and the guardrails around them.
  • Context is everything. An AI that cannot see how your company actually works can only ever guess. Persistent, governed company memory is the foundation, not a feature.
  • AI should do work, not just answer. The real shift is from assistants that reply to workers that take on responsibility and execute.
  • People stay in charge. Autonomy is valuable only when it comes with delegation, approvals, and oversight. Human judgment is a design principle, not an afterthought.

What we're building

Besenes is an operating system for AI-native companies. Instead of another point tool, it's the layer that ties the pieces together:

  • Company Memory so AI has persistent, governed context about your people, knowledge, decisions, and processes.
  • An AI Workforce of AI workers that take on real roles and responsibilities.
  • A Work Hub where people, AI workers, tasks, projects, and knowledge live in one place.
  • Agentic Execution that turns goals into coordinated action across your tools.
  • Human–Agent Collaboration with delegation, approvals, and oversight built in.

The goal is simple to state and hard to do: make it so teams and AI can genuinely operate side by side.

Where we're headed

We think the companies that win the next decade won't be the ones with the most AI tools. They'll be the ones that made AI part of how the company actually operates, deliberately, with people and agents working as one system. We're building Besenes to be that system.

If that's the future you're building toward, explore Besenes or follow along on our blog.
